2026: Narrow Lane, Bigger Impact
A note from our Founder, Samantha Gold
This has been on my mind for the last few months, and as we kick off 2026, I’m ready to trust my gut and move forward with more clarity and intention.
I’ve spent over a decade consulting across tech, product, and service-based companies. In recent years, that work has evolved alongside building my own women’s and children’s sleepwear brand, Motette, and I've become deeply invested in female founder and entrepreneur communities. Over time, it’s become clear these efforts aren’t separate. They’re deeply connected and meant to work together.
In 2025, I made the decision to work exclusively with female-founded brands. Heading into 2026, I’m narrowing that focus even further. I now specialize in partnering with female-founded brands that serve women, children, and families. The work itself is deeply hands-on and strategic. I partner closely with founders to drive meaningful collaborations, unlock podcast, press, and brand exposure, activate and grow communities, support membership growth, and open wholesale and major retail opportunities. Most importantly, I help founders connect all of these pieces into a cohesive, scalable growth engine.
The clarity to niche down even further came directly from experience. In 2025, I was incredibly fortunate to work alongside some truly inspiring women in this space including Gwen Whiting at The Fill, Elizabeth Brunner at StereoType Kids, Toni Toomey at Hone, Jackie Hutson at Piper & Mint, Gabi Day at Bright Body, and Danielle Peplinski at Chillin Sports Mom. Getting to partner with founders like these - women who are open to bold, out-of-the-box ideas, like to move quickly, trust my team and me to execute, and aren’t afraid to get a little scrappy along the way - reinforced exactly where I want to focus my time.
Niching down further is scary. This week, I turned down opportunities and canceled Q1 meetings that didn’t align with this direction. Saying no to potential revenue feels uncomfortable, but trusting my gut feels right.
